PARACHUTE DINNER

If you've followed me on Instagram for a little while, you probably would have seen the incredible dinner we had with Parachute in Portland, OR celebrating their new location. It was perfect and dreamy. 

So I couldn't contain my excitement when I got the invite for another dinner, but this time it was upstate New York in Bovina with And North. Catskill Carriage picked us up in the city and we made the three hour drive to our destination. 

We arrived to this gorgeous historic home (which I've decided I want to live in forever). And behind the house is the most beautiful table set up for our dinner. 

There was an old smokehouse behind the house where they were making our dinner! It started with a Vesper Board, Smoked Potato Dumpling Soup, and Braised Leeks. Then came the Leg of Lamb Tagine, Carrot Salad, Ember Roasted Vegetables, Ancient Grains, and Beans and Bone Marrow! It was one of the most delicious meals I've had. 

We ended the night with a live performance by The Bones of J.R. Jones inside the house surrounded by cozy Parachute throws. 

I'm still dreaming of this night. Surrounded by amazing people, food, and conversation. We always need more nights like this one. Shop Parachute's beautiful Tabletop collection HERE!
